         Al-Ihsan Academy’s Second Annual Fundraising Dinner was a resounding success! We not only exceeded our fund raising goal, we exceeded it by a substantial amount. Over 600 guests attended and were entertained with students’ songs, plays, and a technology show by our sixth graders. We were further blessed with a visit by Sheik Al-Afasy who read Quran and sang annasheed so beautifully that it brought tears to many people’s eyes. Br. Ghassan Abu Khadrah equally pleased the audience with his inspiring annasheed and his hard work in preparing the Al-Ihsan Chorus to sing Ya Tayba and Al Jannah that brought rave reviews from the audience and a call for an encore presentation by the two lead student singers—Hussein Olabi and Zayna Elayyan.

We would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to make this event a success from the students, teachers, parent volunteers, and school committee members from Al-Ihsan to the many, many dedicated community members who so tirelessly washed dishes and helped set up the tables, folded napkins, babysat, and cleaned up afterwards. Your support was overwhelming and very much appreciated. May the peace and blessings of Allah (SWT) be with you now and always. Jazakum Allahu Khairun.
